A few days ago, I asked my husband about “Rain” or “Bi” (real name: Jung Ji Hoon) the Korean pop superstar. I usually read Daum.net and I haven’t been seeing his name on the headlines – until today. I’m not really a fan of Bi, but somehow I’m quite curious about him since he’s very popular. Oh I even spent a few hours watching his life story on one of the cable channels several months ago.
Anyway, Rain is set to enter the military this year but before that he’ll go on a national concert tour. He also has a new digital single which will come out on August 16th. It’s called “Busan Girl” or ë¶€ì‚°ì—¬ìž (Bu-san Yeo-ja) in Hangeul.
From the 13th (Saturday), Rain will start his last concert tour with “The Best Show”. Here are the dates and the cities where he will perform the concert:
August 13th and 14th – Busan
August 27th – Daegu
September 3rd – Jeju
September 17th – Gwangju
September 18th – Daejeon
September 24th and 25th – Seoul
I’m sure his fans are going to miss him a lot once he enter the military.
wow~, i’m surprised to hear that Rain hasn’t been to military service/training…well goodluck to him
sure we will miss him…
Ms. Betchay, as you might already know, I used to like him especially his character, ambitions and talent. But to be honest to the end, I became his fan because of his hard life as well. Since last year I used to read every article, every news, every note that can be found in internet about Rain. And of course the video about his hardships in life, I’ve watched more than once.
BUT, recently I’ve watched the drama called ‘Big Love’, the drama about “naked truth” about the lives of celebrities (the way they live and act for publicity sake). After this drama, I am feeling sooo bad as if I was deceived… by Rain, by Rain’s managers.. as if all i read and know about Rain is fake.
That is how I feel now. Hope it is seasonal =) Anyway, I wish Rain all the best. I wish i have a chance to meet him one day.
I think that’s why we should just admire our favorites for their talents ;p
hehe, yeah you are right! Rain is the first celeb i became a fan of, so sometimes i face difficulties to see in him only his talent without paying much attention to the personality. My ‘the best’ should be best in everything =) poor Rain ^^.
ps.: my temporary disappointment vanished and i am back to the army of his fans! good for me. ^^
I’m a fan and I’m going to miss him. I went to his concert here in the Philippines few months ago. ^^
Oh well, so sad that I won’t be hearing much about him for two years since he’ll be doing his mandatory army service. >.<
Two years is fast… Jo In Sung is back on TV and he’s more handsome than ever!
