Three years ago, the Philippines and South Korea celebrated their 60 years of friendship. As part of the celebration, the Korea Post issued two kinds of commemorative stamps:
The Korean design features “Sonori” or “cow play” while the Philippines has the “Panagbenga Flower Festival”. I got a sheet of the stamps last June from the Korea Philatelic Society. This Philippines-Korea commemorative stamp shall be added to my collection.
Back home in the Philippines, I used to collect stamps and coins. I am not sure if my collections are still intact. I remember that I have a few old Philippine coins. I hope to get them when I go home to the Philippines someday.
It’s so nice to read something about how two countries are getting along and celebrating together! Also these stamps are really cute. Would love to see more of your collection!
Ate Betchay I’m also a Philatelist and Numismatist , hope to have this.
