Korean ferry sinking

On April 16 at 8:58 AM, the Korean coastguard off the coast of Jindo received a distress call of a ferry sinking.

The ferry, SEWOL, left Incheon Passenger Terminal on April 15 at 9PM for Jeju~do. It is carrying a total of 450 passengers. 325 of them are high school students and 14 are teachers. They will go to Jeju~do on a 3N/4D tour.
Helicopters and patrol boats were dispatched to the area and 120 people have been rescued as of 9:55 AM. Many are still waiting to be rescued.
We hope that all of the passengers will be rescued alive.
