Saturday afternoon my husband asked me if I’d like to go to Gwanghwamun to watch the Korean youth soccer team’s match against Brazil at 11PM. Thoughts of screaming fans in red t-shirts flooded my mind and I immediately said yes. I’d like to scream and cheer, not really for the Korean nor the Brazilian team but just for the sake of it.
So after eating dinner and watching the drama “Lee Sun Shin” we hurriedly changed to our red t-shirts and headed for the subway. Before reaching the turnstile, my husband asked me if I really wanted to go there. Apparently, he felt so self-conscious with his “Red Devil” t-shirt! 😀
I wasn’t disappointed since he also told me that we’ll have to walk back home if we go there since the subway would’ve been closed by the time the game ends. Fortunately (or unfortunately?), the Korean team lost 2-0.
huhuhuhu, natalo! hubby stayed up until the wee hours of the morning, lamenting the fact that their team lost. i would have gone to gwanghwamun too, if i knew that sokor stands a chance against their opponent…wala eh tagtalo talaga! better luck (players) next time! ;D
