Cha In Pyo and Shin Ae Ra

Cha In Pyo and Shin Ae Ra are my favorite Korean couple! They are in the news again for adopting another baby. They have a son named Jeong Min, now ten years old. Three years ago, they made headlines when they adopted a baby girl. Blood relationship is important in Korea, and adopting is not really common here. They have been tagged as Korea’s Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie for their philantrophy. They have also been seen in southeast Asian countries (including the Philippines) sharing their blessings with the less fortunate ones.
Cha In Pyo is one of my favorite Korean actors. His drama, “Yeong-ung Shidae” or “Age of Heroes”, is also one of my favorite Korean dramas. Shin Ae Ra has been devoting her time to her family and philantrophic activities. She did a drama two years ago, My Love.
I really like them as a couple. They’re not only beautiful and talented. They also have hearts of gold. How I wish I could meet them someday!

  1. Haha, I was about to say (before I read the entire post) that Cha In Pyo and Shin Ae Ra look like Brad and Angelina in the right pic. How embarrassing that would have been.
Unfortunately, I’m always pessimistic when it comes to celebrities and good deeds. Maybe it’s because I was raised in the US where every celebrity has proves to be a selfish user of others, but I always think there’s an ulterior motive. Look at the timing of the adoption, too. Isn’t Shin Ae Ra premiering in something soon?
Maybe Korea is different from US, but it’ll take some time for me to believe that.

  3. I always admire this actor making it possible to buy all his movies and television series such Firework ,Iron Palm (some taken in L.A),Star in my Heart, and few scene in Behind Tower (i wonder why). He so classy,a gentleman with a big heart,i could not compare them to Angelina and Brad Pitt, nope they have their own way of being so generous in adopting this unfortunate children, not to be famous but they are sincere in their vocation aside from celebrity. I lend my Star in My Heart to my sister ,who is recuperating from her two times operation, she likes him too, have to buy same film. Well this is coming from her,his gesture she said is like that of the good actor Gregory Peck. bye now Lourdes
