It’s February 14 once again and we’re celebrating Valentine’s day! Have you bought your loved one a chocolate, flowers or that special gift? If not, you still have time. I bought my husband chocolate yesterday, as is customary in Korea. It’s the women who buys the chocolates for men on February 14th and it will be the men’s turn to buy candies for the women on White day, March 14.
My son and I went to Namdaemun market yesterday and we saw the burned down gate. Sad. I thought that there are more people visiting now than there ever was. I also noticed the presence of police cars around Dongdaemun, the East gate. I’m sure they were not there before.
I bought my husband a Toblerone bar as it’s his favorite chocolate, and gave it to him last night. He complained that it’s not big enough! Aigoo!

I love Toblerones, used to eat them everyday. After trying Ferraro Rocher, though, this candy has to take the silver. Funny that he actually said it was too small, though! XD

Yeah, it’s the women who are supposed to give chocolates to men yesterday. But in my case, it was the other way around. I thought of spending a portion of the cash gifts I have for chocolates (don’t have income yet) but I can’t stand the cold outside. My poor hubby… I will make it up with him next time…
