One may not believe it but there are coconut trees in Korea. They come complete with the coconut and in different colors too (orange, green, pink, purple). I first saw those trees in Chuncheon in Gangwon-do. I thought it was because of summer that they use them for decoration. They are not just “eyecandies” but they are used as outdoor lighting. Clever? Tacky? Cute? I snapped two while we were on the road.

Yeah they are pretty cool to look at. I have also seen them in Mexico and here in the U.S. but they are usually just for decoration. I still think they are cool! š
