[singlepic=639,250,250,left]My mother will celebrate her 76th birthday on August 4. She was 42 when she gave birth to me. That’s two weeks from now and I haven’t decided on what to give her. I thought that I’ll send her a digital frame before but when I told her about it, she thought she might not be able to know how to use it. So now I’m thinking of getting her something more traditional, like gift baskets.
I made the “mistake” of visiting the website of GiftTree.com, which specializes in gifts! They have a list of beautiful gift baskets on their website that I’m now thinking of other occasions so I can buy more gifts from them. LOL!
I’m thinking of getting my mother one of those spa gift baskets since I think she deserves some pampering. I’m sure she’ll love the healing spa slippers (pictured). GiftTree is now one of my favorite sites.
happy birthday to your mom! you are so lucky she’s still around. i lost mine a couple of years ago and till now, i haven’t spoken of her in the past tense. also, you are so lucky in the sense that you turned out to be bright, intelligent (may you passed it on to your son) even if you were born in her 40’s already an dpast her prime in her child bearing years.
Happy Birthday to your Mama…God bless!^^
@ellen >> thank you po for your kind words… i’m the youngest in the family and the age gap between me and my sister is 6 years!
@sollee >> thank you
Bet:
Tiyang would love to get a family picture of yourself, husband and son that’s nicely framed. She doesn’t need any more material things – just your love and care (which I know she already has). I think that the picture will really be nice a reminder that you are not too far from her and will always put a smile on her face. Or perhaps just a cute pic of your son who she’s really fond of.
Glad to know you’re doing very well.
Love from us all…
Another addictive site is personalization mall or something. The prices aren’t the greatest, but for personalization, they are not so bad.
Awww, moms are the awesomest! Hope your mom has a great bday! And many more to come!
