Despite my hectic schedule (I need to read 80 pages and write two papers), I managed to watch the Korean men’s archery team defeat China and Italy today. Archery is one of my favorite spectator sports. It’s just so exciting specially when the scores are tie and there is only one round left, like in the Korean-Italian game. At 21/24, both teams had the score 199. The Koreans couldn’t be luckier with the last Italian guy, Nespoli, scoring a 7 on his last shot. The final score is 227-225.

The Korean women’s archery team also won a gold yesterday against the Chinese. It’s nice to see them cheer and support the men this time. As descendants of Jumong, they should really be good in archery. I’m looking forward to the individual games. I’m hoping they will replicate the gold medal wins they had in Athens.
The Italian team gave the Koreans a good fight. The match was exciting and I’m glad I watched. IMO, the Italians are probably the most good looking people on the planet.
It was my wildest dream to go to Korea and learn archery. That was my sports when I was an undergrad. ^^; Tlgang domain ng Koreans ang Archery ever since. Baka Kimchi makes their eyesight fairer. hehe.
