2010 G-Global Aviation in Ansan

Got nothing to do this weekend or on Children’s Day, May 5? Last year, we attended the 2009 International Sky Leisure Expo in Ansan in Gyeonggi-do. Tomorrow, we’ll be there again since we had so much fun last year. Which means, I won’t be able to “attend” Jang Dong Gun and Go So Yeong’s wedding (fondly called “JangGo” by the Korean press).

This year, the International Sky Leisure Expo has been renamed to “G-Global Aviation”. Instead of taking the car tomorrow, we’ll just take the subway. My husband wants to avoid the heavy traffic we experienced last year. It wasn’t fun waiting for an hour going through the traffic in one portion of Ansan from the expressway. Too bad I’ll miss the tulips in the city. I’d never seen so many tulips in one place in Korea than in Ansan.
To get there by subway, just take line #4 to Jungang station. From Dongdaemun, it will take about 71 minutes. Take bus 502 from Jungang station or just take the taxi. For more info, visit the official website of the G-Global Aviation. They have all the info you’ll need in English.
