Something that we would be watching out for. A new visa will be issued specifically for foreign spouses of Korean nationals. Right now, the F-2-1 is the visa issued for them. F-2 is a temporary visa that is renewable every year or every other year.
A new F-6 visa will be issued to foreigners who come here to marry Koreans in a bid to better help a growing number of migrant wives, mostly from China and Southeast Asian countries, adapt to the new living environment and deal with legal and other issues here. Currently, they receive an F-2 visa just as other foreigners who wish to stay here for longer than 90 days.
The country has seen a rapid increase in the number of foreigners coming to marry Koreans over the past few years. The number was estimated to exceed 140,000 nationwide as of the end of 2010.
Foreigners whose Korean husbands or wives have died or gone missing will also be eligible for the visa.

hello janbhie, according to my experience, we really went home and got married in pinas..coz un ang pinakarequirement..and then doon na ako nakakuha ng f2 visa , then pumunta na ako d2 sa korea…the best is patawagin mo ung asawa mo sa immigration at ask nya kc un din ang ginawa ng asawa ko…

hi i just wanna share my experience, tnt din ako before i got maried to korean pinadala ko muna lahat ng requirements ko dito saka kami nagpunta ng husband ko sa embassy para magpakasal, luckily nakasal naman kami then after a month nagapply ako ng visa sa immigration binigyan nila ako ng f1 visa temporary visa 1 year din pero kaya naman ako biigyan ng f1 at hindi ako pinauwi kasi pregnant nako! ang advice ko sa tnt pakasal kana muna dito then report mo ung marriage mo sa embassy bagoka umuwi or pakasal kana dito tapos dito o na lang hintayin yung requirement mo na NSO hopefully it would help you guy 🙂

walang problema… hindi mo kailangang palitan ang apelyido mo… yung mga korean women hindi nagpapalit ng apelyido pag kinasal
