For those wishing to be a scholar in the Republic of Korea, here is your chance! The Korean Embassy in the Philippines is accepting applications for the 2013 Global Korea Scholarship. Reposting from the Korean Embassy website:
The Korean Embassy in the Philippines is pleased to announce that it is now accepting applications for the 2013 Global Korea Scholarship for an undergraduate degree. The Korean government scholarship program will provide 110 students from 60 countries with an opportunity to conduct advanced studies at higher educational institutions in Korea to promote international exchanges in education and mutual friendship between countries.
Two (2) students will be chosen from the Philippines to complete the undergraduate program in prestigious Korean universities from March 2013 to February 2018. The scholarship covers round trip airfare tickets, monthly stipend, tuition fees, settlement allowance, repatriation allowance, language training expenses, and medical insurance.
Deadline for application is October 25, 2012.

Remember that the scholarship is also available for citizens of other countries. You may get information from the Korean Embassy in your country.

Hi ms betchay! I discovered your site 3 months ago while researching about south korea because of our trip. It’s really very informative. And maybe it’s because it’s from a Filipina point of view, that’s why I became hooked into often checking your site :).
Our trip is next week. But we are worried about the weather forcast in Seoul from Sep14-18. According to accuweather.com, it will be rainy during those days. Medyo worried lang po kmi kasi baka hindi kami makapmasyal & when they say rainy, as in maghapon po ba? I hope you could give us some insight :). Thanks! – coco
