Two new Pepero flavors

There are currently five Pepero variants available in the market: original, nude, almond, strawberry and peanut. Last Thursday, I found out two new Pepero flavors that Lotte, the maker of Pepero, is introducing for Pepero’s 30th year. These are “hami melon” and “white cookie”.

I bought the “white cookie” Pepero for 1,200 at the convenience store, while the “hami melon” is 1,000 won. White cookie has 32 grams and there were only 8 sticks! The hami melon has 42 grams and more sticks.

Now for the taste! The hami melon does not contain chocolate, but it’s still sweet. It smells and tastes like melon candy. The white cookie is okay. Lousy reviewer, am I not? Well, I don’t think I’ll buy the two new Pepero flavors again. I guess I’ll stick with my favorite Pepero flavors ~ nude and almond!
Oh ~ Pepero Day is coming! Don’t forget to give a box on November 11th!

  1. The Happy Pepero Day is cute 😉 I discovered Pepero late this year through the 7-11 stores. The flavors here are limited to the classic chocolate and almond. I used to like Pocky. This time my taste buds felt that Pepero is better 🙂 Hopefully the new flavors will be available in the Ph market… minus the little hefty price of Php 45 to 50

    1. HI Diane! Thanks for visiting! Pocky is also available in Korea… but I kinda miss “sweet mini pretzels”. Basic but yummy!

  2. I like almond flavor too. I will wait for that 2 new flavor here in pinas market..I wanna try that white cookies…Seems so sweet…:)

  6. Peperos with the Korean writing label are more expensive. Maybe because those are really imported. Original, Nude, Almond and Peanut are available here. How much are Peperos in Korea converted into peso? 🙂
