2015 Korean government scholarship for undergraduate

I know that many have been waiting for this information. The “2015 Korean Government Scholarship Program for International Students for an Undergraduate Degree” is now open for applications and the Philippines is included in the list of countries eligible for the program.

Only two Filipinos (having Philippine passport) could qualify for the undergraduate scholarship (4 year course + 1 year Korean language program). A total of 110 grants will be given to students from 64 countries.
The scholarship period is from March 1, 2015 ~ February 28, 2020. The scholarship benefits include:
~ airplane ticket or airfare
~ monthly stipend of 800,000 won per month
~ tuition fee up to 5 million won
~ settlement allowance of 200,000 won upon arrival
~ repatriation allowance of 100,000 won upon completion of studies
~ Korean language training expenses
~ medical insurance
~ additional grant of 100,000 won per month for level 5 in TOPIK
The applicant must be under 25 years of age as of March 1, 2015 and should be born after March 1, 1990.
