Everyone is invited to attend the “Bayanihan sa Korea 2016”. This festivity is hosted by the Philippine Embassy in South Korea to celebrate the 118th Philippine Independence Day and the 21st Migrant Workers’ Day. This is going to be a whole day affair from 9:30am to 6:00pm with lots of activities in store for the Filipino workers, multicultural families and students.
The program is divided into three parts is as follows:
Part I
9:30am ~ 10:30am Mass celebration by Archbishop Padilla
Part II
10:30am ~ 11:10am Opening Ceremony
11:10am ~ 12:00pm Bayanihan Parade by the Filipino Communities
Part III
12:00pm ~ 1:00pm Lunch Break and Musical Performance
1:00pm ~ 4:30pm Entertainment provided by DJ ChaCha, Daryl Ong and Ellen Adarna
4:30pm ~ 6:00pm Cultural Presentation, Raffle Draw and Street Dancing
Aside from the show, guests can take advantage of the labor counselling, medical services, banking/remittance services and properties/investment counselling.
This event is going to be big and the venue is in Seoul.

How to get there:
~ By public transportation, the best way to get to the venue is by taking bus 405 or 740. You can get off near the Some Sevit and it’s just a few meters walk to the park.
~ From Noksapyeong station (line 6) exit 4 ~ take bus 740 and get off at Banpo Hangang Park (1 stop)
~ From Seobingo station (Jungnang line) exit 1 ~ take bus 405 in front of Seoul Seobingo Elementary School and get off at Banpo Hangang Park (2 stops)
~ From Seocho station (line 2) exit 7 ~ take bus 740 and get off at Banpo Hangang Park (3 stops)
For those coming from the provinces:
~ From YONGSAN Station, take the subway Jungnang line to Seobinggo Station (2 stops from Yongsan) and exit at gate 1. Wait for bus 405 and get off at Banpo Hangang Park.
~ From Nambu Bus Terminal, take the taxi to Banpo Hangang Park (about 5,000 won) or take the subway at Nambu Bus Terminal, get off at Seoul National University of Education station (1 stop) and exit at gate 10. Wait for bus 740 and get off at Banpo Hangang Park.
~ From Express Bus Terminal, take the taxi to Banpo Hangang Park (about 3,000 won) or follow the direction from the photo below.
~ From Cheongnyangni Station, take the subway Jungnang line to Seobingo Station (5 stops) and exit at gate 1. Take bus 405 in front of Seoul Seobingo Elementary School and get off at Banpo Hangang Park.
~ From Sangbong Bus Terminal, take the subway Jungnang line to Seobingo Station (7 stops) and exit at gate 1. Take bus 405 in front of Seoul Seobingo Elementary School and get off at Banpo Hangang Park.
