We are aware that there are Filipinos who would like to come to Korea and work. The only way to do that is through the POEA and nothing else. One can come here on a tourist visa but it is illegal to work. Please be aware of the scams being used by unscrupulous individuals.
An individual asked whether the sticker visa on his passport is legitimate. I asked if I could use the image for this post and he gave permission. It looked like this:
The type of visa is C-3-9 which is the Korean tourist visa. It is also for multiple entry of five years. The issue date is December 4, 2020 and final entry is on December 4, 2025. It seems legit enough except:
- The Korean government has stopped issuing STICKER VISA since July 1, 2020.
- The Korean Embassy in the Philippines is not processing tourist visa for the purpose of sightseeing or tourism. They only process C-3 visa for business purposes or for spouses of Korean citizens.
REMEMBER, THERE IS NO MORE STICKER VISA SINCE JULY 1, 2020. To check the status of your visa application, please visit KOREA VISA PORTAL and click CHECK APPLICATION STATUS.
Also, this is the announcement of the Korean Embassy in the Philippines regarding visa fraud:

In Tagalog:
HINDI PO NAGPO-PROCESS NG TOURIST VISA ANG KOREAN EMBASSY AT HINDI NA RIN PO SILA NAGLALAGAY NG STICKER VISA SA PASSPORT. KAYA PEKE PO ANG STICKER VISA SA PASSPORT KUNG NAILAGAY YAN PAGKATAPOS NG IKA-1 NG HULYO, 2020.
