I’m posting this for the Filipinos living in Korea, specially those who live near Daegu.
The Taegu Filipino Community Council will be celebrating the first Philippine Community fiesta in Daegu dubbed as “Fiesta ng Daegu 2007.”
This whole day event will be held on December 16, at the Daegu Catholic university Grounds, Namsandong (same venue with the Chuseok ’07 celebration) from 10AM onwards.
Highlights of the events:
10:00AM: Catholic Mass
11:00AM: Opening of Booths and Philippine Embassy’s Consular Services (Application/ Renewal of Passport/Travel Documents and Labor Counseling)
1:00PM: Fiesta ng Daegu Program
2:00PM: Traditional Filipino Games
3:00PM: Soundtrack – The Concert (with Fee)
5:30PM: Korean Saxophone Concert (Free)
7:30PM: Simbang Gabi
We are also in the process of inviting Charice Pempengco. Her performance at the StarKing show of SBS was mentioned here in our group a few weeks back.
