Kim Yuna's short program at the 2011 ISU

It’s been a year since we last saw Kim Yuna, aka Queen Yuna, compete on ice. On Friday, she performed “Giselle” and and despite a stumble on her first jump she still landed on the first spot with a score of 65.91. Miki Ando trails her at 65.58 while Yuna’s rival Mao Asada is at far seventh. On Saturday at 630 PM KST, she’ll perform “Homage to Korea” for the free skating competition. This one I really want to see.

I didn’t see her performance when it was shown live on SBS. Too bad my smartphone doesn’t have a DMB and my husband brought his to LV, where he’s currently on a business trip. Anyway, here’s a video that I found on Daum. Though I like Miki Ando’s performance better.

  1. i’ve seen her performance on saturday. it was not bad, but not brilliant as i wanted it to be. She did not make any mistakes, but she was a bit slow in moves. As a result she missed Gold, and won silver again.

  2. I enjoyed Yu-na Kim’s performance better. Anyway, I know that every single skater was very hardworking.
