Seoul's Sweet Space

Seoul’s Sweet Space is one of my favorite places ~ and for a good reason. I could spend about an hour in this tiny store just looking at all the things that I could buy. And I usually only get a few items that I like. This place is literally an “eye candy” ~
Sweet Space is located near Jonggak station, just a few meters from exit 12. You won’t miss its pink facade and the magic word ‘SALE’. My son always kid that I have my eyes and ears always on the lookout for sale ~ blood type O characteristic, he said.

What can you find inside “Sweet Space”? Sweets! And lots of them!
They have an assortment of candies, chocolates, cookies and even drinks from the United States, Japan, Europe and even the Philippines. They have one of my son’s favorite goodies ~ Kid-O!
I was glad to see Pepperidge Farm cookies and Ghirardelli chocolates at reasonable prices.

Where else can you get Milanos for 2,000 won per bag?

They also have St. Dalfour jams and even Campbell soups ~

Again, they are priced reasonably. Even cheaper than Korean brands ~

But my favorite part is the jelly bean section… with lots of products from Jelly Belly.

It is only at Sweet Space that I was able to get a pack of Jelly Beans at less than 2,000 won. They sell for 3,500 won at the convenience stores.

You won’t need to go to Japan for these goodies ~

Every time I’m in the area ~ I simply cannot afford not to visit this shop. If only to get a pack of Ghirardelli or Lindt chocolates ~ that are so much cheaper than anywhere else in Korea.
The best thing about this place is that I don’t need to pay any membership fee ~ and of course it’s so near Jonggak station. So whenever I visit YP Books (they have a good selection of ESL books) or Aladin, it’s also time to drop by Sweet Space.
