I watched the morning show on KBS today. I had to get up early so I can throw out the recyclables, we had three big boxes of them! The show was broadcasting from Gangwondo, a popular vacation province northeast of South Korea. It was raining and the “MCs” (hosts) were holding umbrellas while hosting. They showed specialties of the province and things unique in it. I was surprised when they showed “곤달걀” or “gon dalgyal”. It’s Korea’s version of the Pinoy balut, just a little bit more disgusting. I used to eat balut years ago until I saw one with a really big dead chick in it, just like “gon dalgyal”.
Magtatanong lang po.
