I’m excited to hear that Sharon Cuneta, the Philippines’ megastar, has a new movie. And it’s about an elementary school teacher in the Philippines turned caregiver in the UK. It’s a sad reality that Filipinos have to travel hundreds or even thousands of miles away from home so they could earn a living. My family is not an exception, my brothers and a sister went to the USA (with their Swiss Army luggages) as workers at first.
The last Sharon Cuneta movie I saw in the theatres is the award-winning Crying Ladies. It’s been a long time since that film.
My mom is also looking forward to seeing this film. She said she would watch it the moment it comes out of cinemas. Tiisin na lang daw nya yung kirot ng tahi nya galing sa operation. Grabe!

A must-see movie which kind of reminded me of “Anak” (Vilma Santos and Claudine Baretto movie),which was a big hit in the Phils. too for it showed the plight of our domestic helpers abroad..both films show the sacrifies of our OFWs…
@isel and sollee>> Watching the trailer made me teary-eyed. The trailer is good so I hope we won’t disappointed with the whole film.
