For those who would prefer to go to Hyehwa-dong in Seoul on May 8th instead of the Filipinos Day in Incheon, the Filipino community there is also celebrating Labor Day. It will be held from 9 o’clock in the morning until 6 o’clock in the evening at the Tongsong High School.
To get there, take subway line number 4 to Hyehwa station. Take exit 1 and just walk straight and follow any Filipino you will see.
There will be a Filipino food festival, sports activities, labor counseling, consular services, remittance service, airline ticketing, and perhaps they would also counsel on disability insurance, and of course, a Catholic Mass at 1:30 PM.
I hope I could go there but it’s most likely that I can’t. So I’ll just see you guys at the Filipino Migrants’ Day on May 29th. I’ll be posting more info about it later.
Thank u Ate Bechay for the information. I’ll wait for your another info.. :-))
And at the same time — Happy Mom’s Day and Happy Parent’s Day to you Ms. Bechay!! ^_^
