The hottest news in Korea today is about Kim Yuna having a boyfriend! The online Korean news portal “Dispatch” first reported about the 23-year old seen dating national ice hockey player Kim Won Jung. They were first photographed on Kim Yuna’s birthday on September 5, Kim Yuna’s birthday. After that, they also met on Kim Won Jung’s birthday on December 18 and on Christmas eve.
It is not clear when the two first met, but both of them attended Korea University. As both are also national players, they might have also spent time together at the National Training Center in Taereung.
Kim Won Jung is what Koreans call “몸짱, 얼짱”. He is tall, handsome and fit. He also graduated from one of the SKY universities ~ Korea University (with the other two being Yonsei and Seoul National). He is currently serving his mandatory military service, which will end in September.
Kim Yuna, of course, is one of the most famous Koreans in the world and needs no introduction. So while she didn’t get the gold in the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics, she is probably happy with her love life 😀
