Got some messages asking where they can get tickets for Gilas Pilipinas in Asian Games 2014.
The 17th Asian Games will have its opening ceremony on Friday ~ September 19th. The tickets for the opening ceremony are still available with VIP tickets priced at 1,000,000 won each. If you want to see Kim Su Hyeon, EXO and JYJ up close then perhaps it might be worth the high price.
As for the individual games, the tickets are quite inexpensive and you could also get discounted tickets if you use their Korean site 😀
BASKETBALL have two venues: Samsang Gymnasium in Bupyeong and Hwaseong Sports Complex in Hwaseong.
Gilas Pilipinas have two scheduled games and they will be both played at the Hwaseong Sports Complex (about two hours by public transpo from Seoul). The easiest way to get there is by taking bus 8155 from Sadang station exit 4. It takes one hour from Sadang station and 5 bus stops.

Both games are scheduled at 2 PM.
As of today, there are no more tickets for the reserved seats. Only the 10,000 for General Admission tickets are available.
To buy tickets, please go to OK Ticket website using INTERNET EXPLORER only.

You can purchase tickets without being a member of the website.
The only remaining tickets (or shall I say the tickets available for “English” buyers) is general admission. If using the English version of the site, no discount is available.
You can buy up to 8 tickets at one time.
Make sure to click on the ticket on the right side.
You can only pay by credit card (or debit card issued in Korea).
There is a charge for ticket cancellation after payment so make sure that you’re choosing the right game and date.
Print the ticket after payment OR take a screenshot and save it on your phone. You will have to exchange it at the ticket booth before the games.
I already bought tickets for the soccer game on Sunday. I used the Korean website and was able to get discounted tickets. Original price of the ticket is 10,000 won but I chose the family discount and paid only 15,000 won for three tickets.
I wanted to buy tickets for swimming and gymnastics too but both are sold out.

Take the subway to SADANG STATION (green and blue lines) and leave at exit 4. Wait for the bus 8155 from there and get off after five stops at HWASEONG MUNHWAWON.
To go back to Seoul, take the same bus. The stop is right across where you got off earlier.

You could just go to the venue and buy from there but the semis and finals are already sold out. Still, you could try 😀
I checked http://www.okticket.com/html/ag/html/sub01.html, they still have tickets for the semis. Maybe I can contact them to check if there are still available tickets by then.
