Late Saturday evening my husband thought that we should go to Incheon. We really want to spend our weekends outside Seoul to refresh and see new places. Incheon is a metropolitan coastal city near Seoul that we’ve been intending to visit for the longest time.
On Sunday morning, we woke up at 9AM to prepare for our trip. We had to check the internet for information on the different tourist spots in Incheon. We chose to go to Songdo Resort which has a “beach.” So at 11:10AM, we left our apartment and head off to the west! drove by Olympic Expressway and saw the marathoners along Hangang River. Traffic was light except near Dongdaemun. We arrived in about an hour and a half. We didn’t have a hard time looking for Songdo Resort since it’s along a highway. There were so many restaurants in the area. We parked the car first and looked for a restaurant where we could eat lunch.
Lunch consisted of kalguksu (pro’lly the best I’ve tasted by far), bori bap (barley rice), paechu kimchi (original kimchi) and another kimchi.
