I had posted before that my mother, who lives at my elder brother’s house, has a Direct TV subscription and they have more than 300 channels but she only tunes in to TFC or The Filipino Channel the whole day. She didn’t even know that there are other Filipino channels (ANC, Kapamilya Channel and Cinema One) on their cable subscription.

On my last day in Los Angeles, she was watching Wowowee when two Korean girls were shown “embarrassing” themselves while dancing to that song that Willie sings everyday AFAIK! The two girls, Mimi and Juny, were invited to join the contest “Hep Hep Hooray” and (obviously) won. They are staying in the Philippines as missionaries. They said that they love the Philippines and that they didn’t want to go back to Korea.

Looks like they are really enjoying in the Phils. I’ve seen one of Jessica Soho’s docus about Koreans staying in Pinas and it’s like most of them are saying the same thing, that they want to stay there for good. ^^;;;
