The Korea Times reported that guitar prodigy Jung Sung Ha sets the record on Youtube as the most viewed among Koreans with more than 100 million views for his videos. He started uploading his videos about four years ago and has more than 148,000 subscribers on his channel with the username jwcfree.
Jung Sung Ha’s first video is probably the one uploaded on September 8, 2006 where he played Kotaro Oshio’s “Splash”. I think the first video I’d ever seen of him playing was the one where he played Canon in D. He looked so young then and now at almost 14, he’s been performing on stage with the best guitarists.
ooh, i love jung sung ha. i didn’t know about him until 2008, when an uncle who heard i was getting married to a korean sent me a link to his videos on youtube, haha…

wow! he’s young and already a virtouso he should do the rounds of american tv talk show ellen and oprah. i always love guitar music be it jazz, classical or spanish. this guy will definitely be in my book along with guitar greats armik, paco da lucia, lee ritenour and larry carlton. thanks for the info
