Top 3 Kim Yuna Free Skate

Free skate competition of the Sochi Winter Olympics will be shown at 12 midnight on Thursday. Kim Yuna will be performing “Adios Nonino”. I prefer watching her with I didn’t appreciate it much the first time I saw it, but I’ve since warmed up to the song and the choreography.
Here are my top three Kim Yuna free skate programs:
3. Scheherazade

  1. Gershwin “Concerto in F” – This piece gave her the gold medal during the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver. We knew already that she would get the gold after her performance ~ clean, perfect, powerful.

  1. Les Miserables – 2013 World Championships. By winning the gold, she made it possible for two Korean figure skaters to enter the Olympics. I’ve seen different broadcasts of this program and the all the announcers said this is the best free skate program they have ever seen. This is also one of the few where the announcers were almost speechless during the performance. She received a standing ovation even before she finished her program. Oh and she didn’t skate competitively for two years before this!

We have our hopes up for Kim Yuna, but like I said I just enjoy watching her. It’s a delight to see her breathtaking performances on thin ice.
Kim Yuna, fighting!
